In each district, Digital Green Trust's partners produce 10-15 videos each month by modularizing agricultural and related practices into short, 8-10 minute segments. The videos feature local farmers on topics including testimonials and demonstrations of improved production techniques, market linkages, and government schemes. The videos are shot by members of the community using pocket video cameras. The videos are then vetted by the domain experts of each partner and are distributed on memory cards for playback on battery-operated, pico projectors in each village. Small groups of 10-20 farmers, like self- help groups, participate in weekly screenings of the videos which are mediated by service providers from the community in an interactive, reflective forum.
