Job Summary

Digital Green Trust is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Manager – Digital Marketing to lead our digital marketing strategy and initiatives. This role will report directly to the Director of Communications and will focus on enhancing the brand value of Digital Green Trust (DGT) through impactful digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital marketing tools, trends, and analytics, and will be passionate about using these to help raise awareness, increase visibility, and support the organization’s fundraising goals.

As the Digital Marketing lead, your work will play a key role in showcasing the meaningful impact DGT is making in communities across India and amplifying our work with donor-funded projects. This position will be responsible for crafting and executing innovative digital marketing strategies to highlight DGT’s mission, values, and successes, contributing to building our brand presence and generating support for our programs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Implement Product Marketing Strategies
– Craft and execute targeted marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and engagement with DGT’s tech products, such as the Farmer.Chat app.
– Translate DGT’s mission and impact into compelling product value propositions for diverse audiences, including farmers, donors, and stakeholders.
– Develop integrated marketing campaigns that align with organizational objectives like fundraising, user growth, and partnerships.

Product Positioning and Messaging
– Collaborate with program teams to understand user needs and ensure product marketing reflects on-ground realities and challenges.
– Develop clear, audience-specific messaging that communicates the benefits and impact of DGT’s technology-driven solutions.
– Lead efforts to differentiate DGT’s products in the market by emphasizing unique features, user impact, and scalability.

Digital Campaign Leadership
– Design and execute high-impact digital campaigns to drive product adoption and showcase use cases of tech solutions like Farmer.Chat.
– Leverage tools like Google Ads, social media advertising, and email campaigns to target key audiences effectively.
– Partner with program teams to highlight success stories and real-world impact through data-driven storytelling.

Stakeholder Engagement and Brand Alignment
– Work with donors, corporates, and institutional partners to align product marketing initiatives with funding and collaboration opportunities.
– Highlight DGT’s products at key events such as awards, conferences, and webinars, emphasizing their role in transforming communities through technology.

Customer Journey and User Engagement
– Map out user journeys and design targeted strategies to increase engagement and retention for DGT’s tech solutions.
– Develop creative campaigns and educational content to onboard new users and improve their experience with the products.

Analytics and Insights
– Monitor product adoption metrics and user engagement data to identify trends and refine marketing strategies.
– Provide regular reports on campaign performance, user growth, and product impact to the leadership team.

Collaboration and Coordination
– Collaborate with designers, content creators, and external agencies to create cohesive, product-focused marketing materials.
– Ensure all product marketing efforts are aligned with DGT’s brand voice, organizational values, and broader communication strategies

Qualifications and Experience

Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Experience:
8–10 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within the nonprofit or development sector.
Proven track record of designing and implementing successful digital campaigns.

Technical Skills:
Expertise in digital marketing tools, such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and CRM platforms.
Proficiency in social media platforms and best practices for nonprofit organizations.
Knowledge of SEO/SEM and email marketing tools.

Strategic and Creative Abilities:
Strong ability to strategize and execute campaigns with measurable impact.
Excellent storytelling skills to effectively communicate DGT’s mission and accomplishments.

Collaboration and Leadership:
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to lead projects and manage multiple stakeholders.

Competencies:
– Experience working on CSR-focused campaigns.
– Understanding of donor engagement and fundraising platforms.
– Knowledge of video marketing and podcasting.
– Familiarity with Indian and global award and conference landscapes.
– Previous experience working with grassroots-level organizations.
