Job Summary

The Senior Manger Donor Reporting will act as the critical bridge between the Program and Resource.. teams who will be responsible for writing & coordinating Donor reports. They will also ensure that the accurate & verified data is incorporated in the report. The person will be responsible for coordinating with the communication team for creating high-quality donor reports. As a part of the MEL team, the person will be responsible for verifying the data, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating with relevant teams to address issues. The role also requires the candidate to create impactful donor reports in specified formats, ensuring precision, clarity, and timeliness.

This position demands strong data analysis skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Data Verification and Accuracy:
– Review and validate program data provided by the Program team to ensure alignment with MEL standards.
– Identify discrepancies in data and report them promptly
– Plough back accurate data to the Program team for revisions and alignment.

Donor Report Creation and Coordination:
– Prepare and write donor reports in specified formats, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
– Collaborate with the Communications team to ensure reports are professionally formatted and reflect the impact of the projects.
– Coordinate with the resp.. team to ensure alignment with donor requirements and expectations.

Cross-Team Collaboration:
– Act as the liaison between Program, MEL, BD, and Communications teams to facilitate smooth information flow.
– Ensure all final data shared with Communications and BD teams is accurate and consistent with donor needs.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
– Conduct detailed data analysis and generate insights to enhance the quality of reporting and program planning.
– Maintain and update databases to track donor reporting requirements and project progress.

Process Improvement:
– Establish efficient systems and workflows to streamline the donor reporting process.
– Provide recommendations for improving data accuracy and reporting practices based on MEL insights.

Travel and Representation:
– Travel to program sites when required to collect, validate, and analyze data firsthand.
– Represent the organization at donor meetings, workshops, and other events as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

1) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Development Studies, Data Analytics, or similar).
2) 8–10 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, particularly in donor reporting roles.
3) Exposure to MEL frameworks, data validation, and monitoring techniques.
4) Exceptional writing and editing skills for donor reporting, with a keen eye for accuracy.
5) Proficiency in data analysis and management tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar).
6) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams.
7) A team player with the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
8) Open to travel for site visits and data collection

Competencies:
– Passionate about social impact and sustainability.
– Experience in donor relationship management.
– Familiarity with fundraising and resource team dynamics.
– Knowledge of donor reporting requirements for large international organizations.
