Job Summary
The role supports strategic decision-making, leads cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution, and ensures operational rigor across the programs function. As a force multiplier for the Programs team, this position helps unlock velocity, alignment, and scale.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnering:
• Support strategic planning, project reviews, and priority-setting through structured thinking and insight-driven analysis.
• Provide decision support for high-stakes initiatives and leadership discussions.
Cross-Functional Initiative Ownership:
• Act as a bridge across functions to ensure alignment on organizational priorities.
• Serve as a strategic liaison between the fundraising team and on-ground program teams, ensuring strong alignment between donor commitments and program delivery.
• Translate field insights, impact data, and program outcomes into compelling donor narratives to strengthen fundraising effectiveness, donor engagement, and retention.
• Enable feedback loops between teams to continuously improve program design, execution, and resource allocation.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
Drive High-Impact Communication:
• Develop board materials, leadership briefs, and internal communications.
• Synthesize complex ideas into clear, concise, and compelling narratives.
Operational Excellence:
• Drive effective meeting cadence, agendas, and follow-ups to ensure focus on highest-value work.
• Build lightweight processes, dashboards, and tracking mechanisms.
Synthesize Research & Insights:
• Conduct deep dives, market/sector scans, and internal analyses.
• Distill insights into actionable recommendations.
Maintain Discretion & Integrity:
• Handle sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
Qualifications and Experience
• Direct exposure to work along with the senior leadership team on the organization’s most strategic priorities.

Experience:
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the development sector, with exposure to consulting, strategy, operations, or other high-intensity, fast-paced environments.
• Proven experience in managing teams across multiple projects.
• Prior experience in the agriculture ecosystem is mandatory.
• Experience in the AgTech sector will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualifications:
• Postgraduate degree.
• Preferred specializations: Rural Development, Agribusiness Management, or related fields.
Core Skills & Competencies:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a bias for action.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and strong prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and ability to follow through on commitments.
• Ability to work effectively in dynamic and evolving environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in executive and stakeholder-facing contexts.
